Hi, Everyone - 50 years! I can't believe it! It would be so great to see everyone, but my husband, Tom, and I have to assist our dearest friends with something the very weekend of the reunion. The timing could not be changed. I wish you all a most wonderful time reconnecting and filling in the blanks for all we've become over the years. We certainly helped each other get off to a great start in life by sharing the fun and friendships we had in high school. I wish you all the very best, and will miss the opportunity to re-connect. | Aloha : After WHS ,I went to college ,then the US Air Force .I moved to Oregon & was married 24 yrs(wife passed away cancer)We had 3 children,but lost a son.Living in Oregon I owned a construction Co. & installed ATM's over the Western States (2308 ATMs) I then moved to Marina Del Rey & lived on one of my sailboats. I moved to Honolulu Hi. 15 years ago,where I own Condo's,Remodeling & a Plumbing Co. Plus a Mining co. in Honduras C.A. I'm about ready to retire & move to Costa Rica C.A.I love Surfing,wind surfing,kayaking,white water rafting, & sailing over 50 years.A little water logged HA! HA! Hello from Lake San Marcos in San Diego County. "Home" has been a moving target ever since we graduated: Cleveland,Ohio; San Francisco; Monterey Peninsula; Stamford, CT; NYC; Palos Verdes Peninsula; Vegas (Henderson, actually); and now back in my beloved CA. And I wasn't in the service! (It's a good thing I could keep my cell phone number the same! ) Full circle ... like seeing all of you again. It's going to be grand. I'm thrilled Julia Burke (Davis) and Grant Steadman have been found. They are two of my favorite people from H.S. and even though decades have passed, my memories of their special friendship hasn't. Thank you to the hard working committee who has made it their mission to contact as many people as possible in hopes we can all be together again. Bless you. |
